By accessing and using the website at www.rkis.in and any associated digital services (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all visitors, users, students, parents, and staff who access the Platform.

2. Description of Services

The Platform provides the following services:

Public website: Information about RKIS including academics, admissions, facilities, fees, and campus life.

Enquiry & Admission Forms: Online forms for prospective parents to submit enquiries and admission applications.

Student Portal: A secure portal for enrolled students to view academic records, report cards, and attendance.

Student Management System (SMS): A staff-only tool for managing student data, marks, attendance, and reports.

Exam Creator: A teacher-only tool for generating question papers and managing question banks.

3. User Accounts & Access

Certain parts of the Platform require authentication. The Student Portal uses admission numbers for student login. The SMS and Exam Creator are restricted to authorised school staff with valid credentials. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify the school immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

When using the Platform, you agree not to:

Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form.

Attempt to gain unauthorised access to restricted areas of the Platform.

Use automated bots, scrapers, or other tools to access the Platform without permission.

Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.

Use any content from the Platform for commercial purposes without written consent from RKIS.

Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure or services.

Impersonate another person, student, or staff member.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including text, photographs, logos, graphics, page layouts, and software code — is the property of R.K. International School or its licensors and is protected under Indian copyright and intellectual property laws. You may view and download content for personal, non-commercial use only. Reproduction, distribution, or modification of any content without prior written permission from RKIS is prohibited.

6. Accuracy of Information

While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of information on the Platform, RKIS does not warrant that all information is complete, current, or error-free. Fee structures, academic programmes, admission criteria, and other details are subject to change. Prospective parents and students should confirm details directly with the school office before making decisions based on website content.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RKIS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Platform. This includes but is not limited to: loss of data, errors in academic records displayed online, interruptions to Platform availability, or unauthorised access resulting from your failure to protect your login credentials.

8. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, including CBSE's official website, social media platforms, and external educational resources. RKIS is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of these external sites. Clicking on third-party links is at your own risk.

9. Modifications to Terms

RKIS reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh.
