What Our Boarding Students Get

Everything a student needs to live, learn, and thrive — under one roof, in a supervised and caring environment.

Clean Dormitories

Well-maintained dormitories with proper beds, storage space, and ventilation. Separate buildings for boys and girls with dedicated wardens in each.

Nutritious Meals

Freshly cooked home-style meals three times a day — breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Meals are planned to provide balanced nutrition for growing students.

Evening Study Hours

Daily supervised study sessions in the evenings with faculty available for doubt clarification. Students maintain a consistent academic routine.

Safe & Monitored Campus

The entire campus is gated and monitored with CCTV cameras. Only authorised persons are permitted entry. Student movement is tracked and supervised.

Medical & Health Care

On-campus first aid facility with regular health check-ups. Hostel wardens are trained to respond to health issues, and the school maintains close contact with nearby medical facilities.

Laundry & Hygiene

Regular laundry arrangements and hygiene inspections ensure students maintain cleanliness. Rooms are inspected to encourage good personal habits.

Recreation & Sports

Daily recreation time allows students to play, relax, and participate in sports. Physical activity is considered an important part of the boarding routine.

Parent Communication

We believe parents should always feel connected. Regular PTM meetings, phone updates, and a structured leave policy keep parents fully informed.

Pastoral Care & Wellness

Boarding at RKIS is about more than a bed and meals. We nurture the whole child — emotionally, socially, and academically.

Emotional Well-Being

Dedicated hostel wardens serve as first points of contact for students feeling homesick or anxious. Regular one-on-one check-ins help identify concerns early.

Peer Mentorship

Senior boarders are paired with new students to guide them through the initial weeks. This buddy system eases transitions and builds lasting friendships.

Study Support & Doubt Sessions

Evening study hours include dedicated doubt-clearing sessions with subject teachers. Struggling students receive additional academic mentoring.

Weekend Activities & Celebrations

Boarders enjoy movie nights, birthday celebrations, festival events, and outdoor excursions. These activities create a sense of community and belonging.
