JEE Coaching — Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the ALC programme at RKIS?

ALC (Advance Learning Classes) is an integrated coaching programme designed for students in Classes 11–12 who aspire for JEE Mains & Advanced, NEET, or Olympiads. It runs alongside the regular CBSE curriculum with dedicated morning/evening sessions, 48 weekly tests, and 24 full mock exams. No external coaching needed.

Q: Do I need to attend external JEE coaching if I join ALC?

No. The ALC programme is comprehensive and covers the entire JEE syllabus in depth. Our faculty are experienced, and the structure includes weekly tests and mock exams. Many students who joined ALC achieved NIT selections and high percentiles without external coaching.

Q: How often are mock exams conducted?

We conduct 24 full-length mock exams throughout the ALC programme (roughly one every 2 weeks after Week 12). Additionally, there are 48 weekly subject-wise tests (weekly quizzes in each subject). Every mock is followed by detailed analysis and doubt sessions.

Q: Can I join ALC from Class 10 or only from Class 11?

ALC is primarily designed for Classes 11–12. However, we offer ALC Foundation courses from Class 6–10 to help students build early strength in PCM concepts. Interested students should enquire directly about Class 10 bridge programmes.

Q: What is the success rate of RKIS JEE students?

RKIS has had 5 NIT selections every year since 2021. Our JEE Mains topper achieved 95.3%ile, with additional students scoring high percentiles consistently. We also have 2 IISER selections. These results reflect strong preparation and faculty mentorship. Individual results vary based on effort and consistency.

Q: Is hostel accommodation available for JEE students?

Yes. Boarding is available from Class 4 onwards. JEE students (Classes 11–12) benefit significantly from hostel life — evening study hours, peer learning, structured routine, and immediate faculty access for doubts. Hostel fees are separate from tuition.

Q: How can I enrol for ALC?

Contact the admissions office via phone, WhatsApp, or the admissions form on our website. We will discuss your background, arrange a campus visit, and guide you through the admission process. ALC students follow the same admission route as regular students.

Q: Are there scholarships available for ALC students?

Merit scholarships may be available based on Class 10 board exam performance and entrance assessment scores. Contact the school directly to discuss scholarship eligibility and application.
