We are committed to complying with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and all applicable data protection regulations in India.

A. Information You Provide Directly

When you fill out enquiry forms, admission applications, or contact forms on our website, we collect: your name, email address, phone number, child's name, class applied for, address, previous school details, and any additional information you provide in message fields. For the Student Portal, we collect admission numbers for authentication.

B. Information Collected Automatically

When you browse our website, we automatically collect certain technical information through Google Analytics and our internal tracking systems. This includes: pages visited, time spent on each page, scroll depth, click patterns, device type and screen size, browser type, approximate geographic location (city/region level), and referral source. This data is collected in aggregate and is used to improve our website experience.

C. Student & Academic Data (SMS / Portal)

For enrolled students, our Student Management System stores: academic records (marks, attendance, activities, remarks), performance reports, and behavioural assessments. This data is accessible only to authorised school staff and the respective student/parent through secure portals.

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

Vercel: Website hosting and content delivery network
Google Generative AI: AI-powered question generation for the Exam Creator tool (teacher use only)

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function as intended.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. This includes encrypted database connections (TLS/SSL), role-based access controls for staff portals, password protection for the Student Management System, rate limiting and spam protection on all forms, and secure API key management.

While we take all reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to promptly addressing any data breach in accordance with DPDP Act requirements.

7. Data Retention

Enquiry form data is retained for up to 2 academic years to facilitate follow-up communication. Student academic records are retained for the duration of the student's enrollment and for 5 years after leaving the school, as required by CBSE record-keeping norms. Website analytics data is retained in aggregate form and does not identify individual users.

8. Your Rights Under DPDP Act

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

Access your personal data held by us.
Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Request erasure of your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
Withdraw consent for data processing at any time.
Nominate another person to exercise your data rights.

9. Children's Privacy

As an educational institution, we handle data of children (persons under 18 years of age) with special care. All processing of children's personal data is done with verifiable parental consent, as required under the DPDP Act. Student data collected through the Student Portal and SMS is accessible only to the student (via their admission number) and their registered parents/guardians. We do not use children's data for any commercial or advertising purposes.
